2018 Red Wines
A Royal wedding, the Queer Eye reboot, and a bunch of headlines from across the pond I’m sure we’d all rather forget… we can probably agree that 2018 was something like the calm before the storm.
World events aside, we prefer to focus on the good stuff. In Australia, the 2018 growing season was ideal, with a generally drier than usual spring and a long, hot summer that allowed grapes to ripen slowly. The conditions resulted in a lower-than-average yield, but with fruit that packed a powerful punch.
The lower quantity was balanced by an increase in quality, with many agreeing that the wines produced in Australia in 2018 were outstanding across the board. We happen to agree, and have a selection of 2018 red wines that we think you’ll love.
