Bleasdale's Wellington Road GSM blend has only been in existence for a handful of years, but it draws on quality older vines from the estate as well as key growers. Offering vivid aromatics, it builds around a core of noticeable acidity and fine but plentiful tannins - a skeleton that promises longevity. That said, it's lovely already, with floral notes, jubey fruit, spice and more.

A beautiful and fragrant mid-weight Limestone Coast blend of Shiraz and Cabernet. Cape Jaffa have a knack for making wines that are gloriously drinkable on release and improve, maybe not for 20 years, but for 5+ minimum. This offers, spice, florals and red fruit in abundance, which then leads to darker fruits, a litle cedar and a fine tannin finish. We love it. Learn More
Wow! A rich, voluptuous yet well structured red from Dandelion’s biodynamic Firehawk Farm vineyard. Inky black fruits are pierced by blackberries and then scented with cedar and spice. Long, rich and balanced. An exceptional wine. Learn More
Red fruited, black fruited, aromatic, juicy, rich, with satsuma plum fleshiness and juice. Cloves, smoked meat, cinnamon and spice. Powerful! Opens superbly with decanting and definitely worth having with food. This is an organic and biodynamic wine. There is a little CO2 trapped in the wine as a preservative, so give it a vigorous decant before drinking. Learn More
This is a gorgeously vibrant blend of Shiraz and Cab from the Limestone Coast. It has heady perfume of red fruits, blue fruits and florals leading to a palate bursting with cranberry, blackcurrants, mint, cedar and a hint of eucalypt Learn More
84% Shiraz and 16% Grenache sourced from 50-100 year old vines yielding at less than 1.5 tonnes per acre. Old oak here and mostly French, a wonderful fragrance of plum and lavender leads to a palate offering the same plus raspberries, anise, pepper and more. Crazy that a product with this fruit source, which is beautifully executed, retails for just $25 a bottle. Learn More
Lots going on here in this aromatic, medium bodied gem. Blackberries, almonds, lush black fruits, spice and fine but assertive tannins. Impossibly easy to drink but with a presence that marks it as being something a bit spesh! Learn More

Kilikanoon grow or buy a vast quantity of Clare Grenache - no surprise then that they produce some of the finest Grenache in the Valley. They also arguably produce the region's best Shiraz, 'hello Kilikanoon Revelation and Attunga'. Their GSMs also fare well - the current $40 a bottle Baudinet having picked up multiple trophies. So, we're very excited to introduce the first ever Kilikanoon Meymans GSM, a mid-weight, complex and textural beast which offers comforting blue and black fruit, spice and whisper fine tannins. We love it. Learn More
Always a standout from the Kilikanoon stable, with pretty much every vintage rated at somewhere between 95 and 97 points. The 2020 is the most concentrated yet- perhaps owing to the vintage being significantly smaller than normal. Bucketloads of black fruit, violets, blackcurrant pastilles, black tea, acidity and a truckload of fine tannins here. Get it in a decanter and serve with a rare T-Bone. Should improve for 15 years, maybe more if cellared correctly. Learn More
From the Halliday guide, Campbell Mattinson offers 'No Aussie red-wine drinker will be left disappointed.' It's a rich, luscious wine, blackcurrant flavours tumbling through vanilla and mint, tobacco notes made cuddlier by the general creamy softness of the palate.'.
Wine critic Nick Ryan reckons this is the best value for money Aussie red and has been for the last 30 years. Learn More
The Grenache (from 95 year old bush vines) was fermented on skins for 10 days after harvest with a small element of whole bunch. The shiraz is from Blewitt Springs and fermented on skins for 8 days then pressings were added back in. Both wines were then transferred to 8 and 9 year old barrels for the wines to develop without the intrusion of oak flavour.
This is a magnificent blend of robust, full bodied shiraz with spice and chocolate offset by the juicy red and blue fruits of old vine grenache. A wonderful wine to enjoy now but the structure suggests it has 10-15 years of improvement ahead of it.
