A match made in heaven with this one. My easy carve lamb leg is exactly what you need for Sunday lunch/dinner.
I marinate it overnight in paprika, cumin, garlic & rosemary to name a few ingredients and, as its cooking, baste it in a dressing of honey, mustard, parsley, lemon juice & garlic! If this doesn’t sound like pure heaven then picture this – a slice of medium rare lamb, grilled asparagus and a glass of Through the Tasting Glass Cheshire Cat Barossa Shiraz. Exclusive to winedirect.com.au, this wine is packed with dark fruits, good tannins, lovely acidity and good length. For a young Shiraz it’s drinking great right now but defo has aging potential. Lamb and Shiraz have always been a great combo but the bbq/char flavour you get with this easy carve leg is a perfect marriage with this particular Barossa Shiraz. Everything just works in harmony and it’s a combination I’ll regularly be serving friends and family.
