On the coat tails of the wonderfully successful Melbourne GFWS we were off to Sydney for a repeat performance. The opportunity to showcase all the best of what NSW has to offer all gourmands was not missed with some amazing stands and fabulous produce on offer.
The queue at the main door was long and once the doors opened on Friday it was game on!! Within a short space of time it was dueling GFWS Shopping Trolleys everywhere the eye could see all of which were overflowing with samples, gadgets and in some instances small children who were completely over all things Wine and Food and just wanted to hitch a ride and not get trampled on by the big people.
The iPads at our wine stand were a great draw card for the many punters who stopped to have a chat, taste the wines and enter the draw to ‘win a dozen dozen’. Of all the prizes on offer a ‘dozen dozen’ wines was deemed to be the most sort after prize at the show.
Phil once again had a presentation opportunity to a packed house at the Reidel Wine Theatre to talk and taste the Official GFWS Dozen which resulted in a great response to this fabulous wine offer.
