Medium-bodied, off-dry and complex. This is a blend of 2019 Shiraz aged in oak and 2021 Shiraz aged in stainless. Both vintages were exceptional. The original Langhorne Creek plantings of Shiraz from 1891 form the backbone and majority of this Shiraz from the brilliant 2021 vintage from Metala. The fruit is rich, the flavours complex and long, showing off the vine age as chocolate, cherries, pepper, blueberries and more cavort long before being wrapped up in quality, cedary oak.
