    Barossa Valley, SA
    96pts Sam Kim
Even more concentrated than the 2018 vintage. A massive, deep and complex expression of the best bits of the Barossa Valley. Dark chocolate, liquorice, tobacco leaf, cedar, cassis, plums, cherries, spice and plenty of cedary oak and tannins. Incredible.
    Clare Valley, SA
    95pts Sam Kim
Massive- a big, dark and super rich red wine, yet smooth and textural. Plenty of oak, and good acidity. On the tasting panel, we kinda expected to hate this, given it's 16.3% alcohol – fair to say we were wrong!
    Clare Valley, SA
96pts Kim Brebach, 94pts Sam Kim
A standout from the Kilikanoon stable. From Kim Brebach, who gave it 96 points. ‘The fruit is gorgeous, rich and generous, the wine is big but soft and seductive, and the oak handling exemplary. The texture is velvet, the balance is perfect.’ A stunner which you can drink now, or age for up to another dozen years or so.
    Clare Valley, SA
96pts Kim Brebach, 95pts Wine Pilot, 94pts Sam Kim
A riper, darker and more supple expression of Peppertree Shiraz which retains the hallmark, spice and subtlety. It was aged in old oak and released at 5 years of age – ready to drink! This is balanced and fresh, offering dark fruits, cherries, violets, dark chocolate, savoury notes and white pepper. Drink any time over the next 10+ years.
    Coonawarra, SA
3 x Gold Medals, 93pts James Halliday, 93pts Real Review
This is top end Coonawarra Cab done right. A grade vines are hand tended, the fruit bunch sorted, open fermented, basket pressed and put into superb French oak for a couple of years. Red fruits, mulberries, bramble, olives, dried herbs are all in the mix. The palate is extremely powerful, textural, intense and long. An exceptional, single vineyard Coonawarra Cab.
    McLaren Vale, SA
Platinum Medal , 3 x Gold Medals, 93pts Huon Hooke
Low yields, very careful fruit selection, hands on winemaking with whole bunches and open fermentation and the use of high quality French and Bulgarian oak have conspired again to produce a stunningly intense McLaren Vale Shiraz. It offers blackberries and cedary oak, great length and deeply intense silken black and blue fruits, anise and chocolate all settling nicely into a really satisfying drink. Super intense, chewy and rich but not overblown. Awesome now and should cellar beautifully. Remarkable value for money.
    Adelaide Hills, SA
    95pts Sam Kim
Quite a big black beast, with oodles of black fruits, spice, cedar and depth of flavour. Excellent on opening, this also improves as it breathes and is a superb match for pretty much anything beefy. N.B. Masterchef fans, this has not been tested with Beef Ice cream.
    McLaren Vale, SA
2 x Gold Medal, 95pts Sam Kim, 93pts Kim Brebach, 93pts James Halliday, 96pts Melbourne International Wine Competition
A wonderful Grenache with a little age. New school bright fruit and exceptionally deftly placed tannins meet high-quality, old-school oak. Ned Goodwin from the Halliday Wine Companion wrote a year ago ‘too much mocha-vanilla-infused oak enshrouding this, the fruit and structural latticework beyond it is sublime, auguring well for future change... Raspberry bon-bon, thyme, orange zest and lavender. The acidity, juicy and palpably natural. The grape tannins, lithe and etched with grace... I score this with the promise to which I hold it.’ A year later and this wine’s time has arrived, it is a ripper!
    McLaren Vale, SA
94pts Sam Kim, 93pts Wine Showcase Magazine, 92pts James Halliday
This is a big wine by GSM standards and brooding to boot. There’s lots of dark fruit, swirls of spice and earth, chocolate and plums. It is superbly succulent, lithe relative to its impressive fruit weight and an each way bet for necking now or in 10 years time.
    Padthaway, SA
    95pts Sam Kim
This is a mighty Shiraz, rich dark cocoa and coffee licks mix seductively with and a beautiful cedar platter. Dark fruit and five spice float through the palate lingering to a long finish of fine tannin.
    Bordeaux, France
93pts Sam Kim, 93pts Kim Brebach
In theory an entry level Bordeaux, this actually drinks like a vastly more expensive wine. The depth of fruit, effortless fleshiness and fruit weight of the palate and seamless glide into a bed of fine tannins marks this as a wine of class and style. Red fruits, back fruits, spice, cedar and minerality are all on the go here. Grab a few bottles to try, we suspect you’ll be back for more.
