A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonay and Pinot Meunier, fashioned from vineyards in Epernay, Pierry, Chouilly and Barbonne. 10% is aged in oak and 10% of the finished wine is sourced from the Bouché Reserve wine program, which is held in oak. Only 1300 bottles were made of this single vineyard, estate Grown Cab- a product of the best fruit Dowie Doole grew in the 2019 vintage. It is the best wine we've ever tasted from DD! This is varietal, rich, smooth, powerful and has complexities which are just beginning to emerge and which will become more obvious with time. Choc mint- plums, violets and cedary oak all on the go here. A high-end Cab which is both powerful and elegant and still clearly retains an unmistakable varietal stamp. Medium-bodied, off-dry and complex. This is a blend of 2019 Shiraz aged in oak and 2021 Shiraz aged in stainless. Both vintages were exceptional.
