Grant Burge 'Winemaker's Selection' Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Special Price $20.00 Regular Price $24.00
Juicy, boisterous, thick, rich and beautifully polished, this is a lush and lovely Cab from the stellar 2018 vintage. You could cellar for 5-8 years, but why bother. There are black fruits, violets and a little assertively angular greenery which stamp this wine as a varietally-correct Cabernet.

Grant Burge began brewing arcane bevvies about 30 years ago under his own label. Prior to that he had been a big cheese winemaker with another major Aussie Wine producer. On launching his own label he immediately set about producing a top end Shiraz to rival the best in Australia, the ‘Meshach’. Along the journey Grant has been awarded every major prize the industry has to offer, the Jimmy Watson, Montgomery and Stodart Trophies just to name a few.
