A step up from the previous vintage, the 22 Scepter Shiraz with bright red fruits, of strawberry and cranberry, with milk chocolate. A lovely mid palate richness leady to a long finish.
McLaren Vale, SA
91pts Ray Jordan
A beautifully balanced and fragrant, medium-bodied blend of Cab, with a hatful of Cab Franc, Monty and Barbera thrown in. Dark fruits here, along with a suggestion of meatiness and some aniseed on the finish. Lamb shanks might just be the perfect food match.
South Australia
Black fruits, soft, silken and syrupy, this is a very easy drinking Shiraz which nonetheless has quality fruit and is a cut above the average quaffer. Seems to disappear fairly quickly after the lid gets ripped off.
Langhorne Creek, SA

An exceptional, brightly, and intensely fruited medium-bodied Shiraz sourced from 50-year-old Langhorne Creek vines. Bold red and black fruits are bolstered by good acidity. The wine is finished with vanilla, spindles of oak, and fine tannins.
