Sam Kim gave it 96pts and Ken Gargett has just chimed in with 94 and the words ‘seamless and seductive ... intensity never waivers … excellent length, fine acidity and sleek tannins. This has at least a decade ahead of it, during which period it will surely improve even more. This exceptional old vine Shiraz balances fruit intensity with brightness and is a joy to drink already. That said, it will improve for us to a decade if you can keep your hands off it for a bit. Exceptional depth of fruit and concentration. Great length and yet vibrant enough to make you smile already. No wonder we are selling bucketloads.
