The palate is full bodied and it’s here you see even more layers of complexity and intrigue, no doubt due to the co-fermentation of 5 different clones scattered throughout this unique vineyard. Fermented on skins for 10 days after harvest with a small element of whole bunch. The wine was then transferred to 8 and 9 year old barrels for the wine to develop without the intrusion of oak flavour.
This is McLaren Vale Grenache in all its playful and complex glory.
