Let's be honest, who likes paying for freight? You can't drink freight....you can't put in in the cellar and pull it out for a special occasion...it doesn't perfectly compliment your meal, nor does it make a good evening with friends even better. So we figured, bugger it - we'll cover the cost of freight on any 12 or more bottles, so you don't have to. All you have to do is pick the wines you want (well, we can help with that too). One thing though...if you grab less than 12 bottles we'll have to slug you a flat fee of $7.50 to anywhere in Australia.

OK, well that covers the "free" bit, what about the "fast" bit?

winedirect.com.au uses the specialized wine delivery network at Australia Post to deliver your goods. Delivery can occur within 3-4 business days but may take up to 10 depending on the overall pressure on the delivery network at that particular time, your distance from major centers and product availability.

Australia Post require a signature upon delivery for security purposes. If you choose to have the goods delivered to your home or business and you are out when the delivery is attempted, a card will be placed in your letterbox and your package will be securely stored at your local post office for collection. The post office keeps your parcel for a maximum of 10 business days.

Alternatively, during the checkout process you can elect to have the your wine left at the delivery address in a specific location ie, under the verandah, behind the side gate, in the dog kennel etc. if no one is home. Doing so removes the requirement for a signature and passes on responsibility to the purchaser for any issues that may occur post delivery ie, wine gets damaged by inclement weather, some bozo flogs it etc.
