At winedirect.com.au, we've curated a selection of standout Australian bottles all under $30, sourced from regions like the Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley, and McLaren Vale. These picks emphasise freshness and value, ideal for budget-savvy wine lovers seeking quality without the premium price tag
Perfect for the Christmas season, this Baker’s Dozen will set you back less than $28 a bottle — yet it’ll sleigh you with wines that retail between $75 and $250 each.
Need a few last-minute gifts? Got you covered. Need a superb bottle (or three) for Chrissie lunch? Got you covered there too.
Inside you’ll find a 94-point Clare Shiraz that normally fetches $150, a 97-point McLaren Vale Shiraz, and not one but two Barossa stunners worth $250 each — both with 97-point scores to their names.
These are superb wines to see you through the intricacies of the festive season, and if you’re lucky enough to drink them yourself, they’ll fill you with the warm, hazy glow that only Christmas — and great Shiraz — can bring.
A magnificent collection of Barossa Shiraz, worth $2,020, yours today for just $595.
Hewitson Ungrafted Shiraz (96 points) – fragrance, vibrancy, and intensity perfectly in sync.
Lone Palm Hillside Shiraz (96 points) – classic Barossa power, layered with cedary oak and savoury umami.
Stonehouse Neldner Shiraz – old-vine depth, black fruit complexity, raspy tannins, and oak finesse.
Lone Palm Selection Shiraz (97 points) – Barossa in excelsis; immense power that lights you up from first sip to last drop.
Yaldara Grand Shiraz ($250 RRP) – yet to be scored, but every prior vintage has rated 96+; this one promises to soar.
Dave Powell’s The Silesian Shiraz (97 points) – graphite, black fruits, kaleidoscopic complexity; impressive on opening, transcendent after a decant.
This is Barossa royalty in a box.
Here's 4 quite different expressions of Barossa and McLaren Vale Shiraz along with a stunning $150 a bottle, 97 pointer made by Dave Powell. Well oaked, black and punchy Shiraz from 3 Rings Barossa, gives way to the fruit driven, old vine, 96 pointer from Curtis McLaren Vale. Sieger's well oaked, rich, old school Barossa then nudges up against Lone Palm's intensely fruited but spicy and moderately oaked Hillside Barossa Shiraz. You'll get 3 bottles of each of these, plus a single bottle of the exceptional Neldner Road 'The Silesian' Shiraz, which is ethereally perfumed, with long and persistent black fruits and a hint of spice. Please double decant the Neldner Road, it's good on opening, incredible with air.
We thought you might like a baker's dozen reds which are all inside of their ideal drinking window - so here they are! That said, these will also continue to improve for some time... so there's absolutely no rush to drink 'em.
There's medium bodied, spicy and easy drinking Cab here, aged Frankland River Shiraz, black fruit and spice '22 vintage Barossa Shiraz and a lovely, cedary Clare Shiraz from 2017. All drinking beautifully! The 13th bottle is Lone Palm's Hillside Shiraz, a 96 point, $120 a bottle stunner. Decant and drink it now over a couple of days.

We're based in Adelaide, South Australia, spitting distance from some of Australia's finest wine regions including the McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, and the Adelaide Hills, allowing us to source wine directly from the winemakers and producers. We select only the best quality and bang for buck wines to ensure we can offer fantastic pricing to our ever-increasing family of wine lovers. We're a bunch of passionate wine nerds who pride ourselves on providing insightful, personalized service and exceptional, excellent value wine.
We started our life as a brick-and-mortar wine shop, but around 1997, once demand for our mixed dozens had outgrown our space, we decided to take our offerings online to allow wine lovers to access our wine selection Australia-wide - and not just any wine selection; we only sell the best wines Australia has to offer (plus some exceptional European stuff, too)!
True to our beginnings, we’re known for our wine packs – expertly curated by our wine tasting panel – but we sell individual bottles for your own pick’n’mix packs, too, with free delivery Australia-wide on orders of 12 bottles or more.
So if you’re looking for the best wine deals online in Australia, welcome to winedirect.com.au - you’ve come to the right place!

With these few simple tricks, you can age your bottles like a pro and serve them in a way that’ll impress your mates.
For over 15 years we have partnered with The Royal Adelaide Wine Show, arguably the most prestigious wine show in Australia, to curate their official dozens, giving wine lovers Australia-wide the opportunity to sample some of the very best wines Australia has to offer...

The best place to start...
We range a highly curated selection of wines, mostly from small to medium sized wineries. Our philosophy is simple; we only sell wines that we would drink ourselves. We taste every bottle that we sell and will only put forward those which we feel are outstanding to drink or, at least, outstanding value.
And by far the best value way to get wine through us is via our mixed packs. With savings of up to, sometimes in excess of, 75%, these offers are no-brainers and a great way to taste a range of what we have on offer.
Then, if you find a wine you simply can't live without, we highly recommend getting in touch with us for pricing on individual bottles too sensitive to publish online - we call them our mate's rates... c'mon, be our mate!
