  1. Ca Vegar Bardolino DOC 2023
    $45.00
Its bigger than Pinot, and of course has a different flavour profile, but in the UK plenty of punters who drink Pinot are equally enamoured of Bardolino. 'But it is made from the same grapes as Amarone', we hear you say. It is, and Bardolino is only half an hour from that region, but the wines are altogether brighter and far more delicate than you'll find there. This Bardolino sees about 6 months in oak, followed by some time in tank prior to bottling – red fruits and violet form the nose. It is red fruity, pulpy and fleshy and finishes tight and dry, with excellent length, minerality, plenty of acid and fine tannins. Drink it with rich meaty dishes or oily fish. Definitely a food wine and absolutely worth decanting. Learn More
  2. Chain of Ponds 'Black Thursday' Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Special Price $20.00 Regular Price $23.00
This is zippy and slightly textural sauv blanc which offers a lovely combo of greenery to go with the passionfruit and tropicals. All in all, there’s plenty going on with this wine for discerning savvy blanc fans. Learn More
  3. Champagne Bernard Remy Blanc de Noirs
Special Price $100.00 Regular Price $120.00
A powerful and youthful expression of Pinot Noir. The House style tends towards long ageing on lees, but here, that time is cut to just 18 months to allow the power and texture of their superb Pinot to shine. Rich and powerful with plentiful red fruits, quince and pear, this is an excellent match for duck dishes. Learn More
  4. Champagne Bernard Remy Carte Blanche NV

A stunningly complex Champagne. The nose offers mushroom and truffle, shortbread and stonefruits too. The palate offers all of the above and a meatiness from the Pinot Noir component. As the wine opens there is also nectarine and apple. Persistence of flavour and intensity are exceptional. Learn More

  11. Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz 2021
Special Price $32.00 Regular Price $35.00
Wine writer Windsor Dobbin asks why this doesn't sell at a much higher price, and we concur. 35 to 120 year old vines yielding at a minuscule 1.25 tonne per acre, 40% new oak, 90% of which is French, black cherries, spice, raspberries, olive tapenade and black pepper. A stunning wine already, which will improve with cellaring. Learn More
  12. Glaetzer Wallace Shiraz Grenache 2021
Special Price $30.00 Regular Price $35.00
84% Shiraz and 16% Grenache sourced from 50-100 year old vines yielding at less than 1.5 tonnes per acre. Old oak here and mostly French, a wonderful fragrance of plum and lavender leads to a palate offering the same plus raspberries, anise, pepper and more. Crazy that a product with this fruit source, which is beautifully executed, retails for just $25 a bottle. Learn More
