- Barristers Block Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2024$32.00
Lime and lime zest with snow pea tendrils and grapefruit. A delightful texture and just the perfect amount of acidity to allow the fruit to make its powerful point without taking over the show. A delightful Savvy which should improve for a few years yet.
Learn More - Bleasdale Frank Potts 2021$39.00A casual 97 points from James Halliday! Oh, and four trophies and a 'stacks on' pile of golds and top gold medals. This is dense and complex, whilst also being taut and linear. Awesome now (post decanting), but will live for 20 years with careful cellaring, perhaps more. Red and black fruits here, with quality cedary spindles and exceptional length. Learn More
- Bleasdale Sparkling Shiraz NV$25.00All about the red fruits and plum here, in a fluffy, lush, cuddly, generous and bubbly setting. There’s Christmas cakey spices and a hint of quince paste to boot. Lip smackingly delicious. Learn More
- Ca Vegar Bardolino DOC 2023$45.00Its bigger than Pinot, and of course has a different flavour profile, but in the UK plenty of punters who drink Pinot are equally enamoured of Bardolino. 'But it is made from the same grapes as Amarone', we hear you say. It is, and Bardolino is only half an hour from that region, but the wines are altogether brighter and far more delicate than you'll find there. This Bardolino sees about 6 months in oak, followed by some time in tank prior to bottling – red fruits and violet form the nose. It is red fruity, pulpy and fleshy and finishes tight and dry, with excellent length, minerality, plenty of acid and fine tannins. Drink it with rich meaty dishes or oily fish. Definitely a food wine and absolutely worth decanting. Learn More
- Colli Vicentini Romeo Prosecco DOC$35.00Aromatic and laden with green apple and citrus, sherbet and fruit tingle, this is an excellent prosecco. The palate is textural and (within specs) has good mouthfeel. Consider pairing with a plate of something spicy! Learn More
- Domaine Des Garriguettes Fleur Des Lune Côtes du Rhône Gadagne AOP GSM 2023$70.00Red fruited, black fruited, aromatic, juicy, rich, with satsuma plum fleshiness and juice. Cloves, smoked meat, cinnamon and spice. Powerful! Opens superbly with decanting and definitely worth having with food. This is an organic and biodynamic wine. There is a little CO2 trapped in the wine as a preservative, so give it a vigorous decant before drinking. Learn More
- Evans & Tate Redbrook Estate Shiraz 2019$40.00The best fruit from the Estate vineyard was handpicked and fermented as 90% whole bunches then treated to 9 months in older, large format French oak. It’s complex, offering mulberries, liquorice, olive, cassis, white pepper and plums before finishing with curlicues of cedary oak and a wave of fine tannins. A spectacular Shiraz. Sorry, this product is not available individually. Learn More
- Evans and Tate Redbrook Margaret River Chardonnay 2022$40.00
Delicate and complex and with a long life ahead of it, the 22 Redbrook Chard offers a tight citrus line underpinned by stonefruits, creamy lees and a hint of reductive smokiness and funk. Intense, fresh yet rich and with a beautiful texture.
Learn More - Irvine Grand Merlot 2018Special Price $140.00 Regular Price $150.00Aussie Merlot doesn’t get more complex or highly awarded than Irvine’s Grand Merlot, twice recipient of the best Merlot in the world award. Recent releases are even better structured and livelier thank the oldies, and we are confident the 2018 will improve for 10 years plus. The 2018 exceeds the power and complexity of the 2017 vintage, adding a rich sheen of plum and fig to the mix of violet, blueberry, dark chocolate and five spice. Excellent acidity and plenty of fine French oak here too. Decant for several hours before drinking. Learn More
