A stunning White Burgundy, aka Chardonnay, from a legendary producer who has been fermenting grapes since 1711. Bill Nanson, of the Burgundy Report, first tasted this wine 3 years ago, offering ‘More complexity and vibrance to this aroma – more barrel too ... a wine that’s more about the future. Wide, saline, concentrated, and certainly mineral. The finish is subtle but very persistent. You should give this wine at least 3 years in the cellar – or I would anyway.
