Learn More - Bloody Big Reds: Aus vs ItalyRegular Price $673.00 $240.00
Most Aussie red drinkers know our Shiraz can be big, bold and packed with flavour. You could argue that these are the biggest reds on the planet. But that would be discounting Italian reds — especially those from the Amarone-producing region of Valpolicella — which can be just as powerful. The secret? Traditional techniques like air-drying grapes pre-ferment to intensify richness and structure. Source them from a high altitude grower who yields his vineyard low, air dries the fruit for an extended period and ferments to maximise extraction, and you've got yourself a bruising rivalry!
In this 6-pack, we’ve matched three massive, low yield, air dried reds from Ca' Botta with three bold Aussie reds, including the opulent Yaldara Grand Shiraz and full-bodied Angas King Reserve. It's a side-by-side look at what happens when both hemispheres go big — in flavour, structure and style.
Learn More - Mostly Shiraz & RieslingRegular Price $896.00 $295.00
Lots of goodness here starting with Forester's multiple Trophy winning Shiraz. This is 86% Margaret River Shiraz blended with Fer. Fer is an ancient varietal, likely of Basque country origin which is widely planted in Southwest France, and generally makes up 100% of reds coming out of the Marcilliac region. It is prized for its impenetrable black coloring and density of fruit. Flavours sit in the blackberry, cherry and black tea spectrums, and the variety also typically offers a pleasing smokiness. Next up, the Angas King Reserve Clare Shiraz, which is black, rich and smooth. Dowie Doole's Architect might be the best Shiraz in the pack - it offers incredible density of fruit and great length. Finally, Kilikanoon's Meyman's Shiraz is a stone cold stunner. Packed with intense fruit, it also offers fragrance, savoury notes and subtle complexities. The whites are all Riesling, Lone Palm's Old Vine Eden, packed with steely citrus and offering excellent persistence and Kilikanoon's linear Clare lovely. Oh, we've rounded out the pack with a bonus bottle of Yaldara's $250 RRP Grand Cuvée Shiraz!

Learn More - The Heavy-Hitting $199 Shiraz DozenRegular Price $624.00 $199.00Coming your way, three bottles of the Red Deer '22 Langhorne Creek Old Vine Shiraz. This is a wine that we can squeeze into the $199 doz comfortably. It is $35 retail and just picked up 95 points from Kim Brebach with the following words: ‘…took me right back to the early reds of Wolf Blass (also using Langhorne Creek fruit). The vibrant, slippery fruit is supercharged, bursting with bright flavour yet the wine is not overripe or high in alcohol. It’s medium-bodied, almost elegant – it’s truly rare to find such intensity of flavour in a gentle red. So far so good; we’re on track for a good $199 doz. Then it starts to get silly, because we’ve also shoehorned in three bottles of the 2015 Mitchell Peppertree Shiraz: a 96-point stunner, mid weight and drinking beautifully. No rush though, you can drink this any time over the next 10 years. Next up, three of Greenock Estate’s Sieger 777 Old Vine Barossa Shiraz. This wine pulls no punches: a $50-a-bottle, full-throttle Barossa Shiraz that leaves no stone unturned in its mission to stone your palate to death. Drink it carefully; it's big! To complete the heavy-hitting, we have three $75-a-bottle Angas King Reserve Clare Shiraz. We’ve already sold a bucketload of this wine and had a heap of repeat orders for it. It's decent value at $75, exceptional when you can pick it up in this doz with an average bottle price of just $16.58! Learn More
