  1. 96pts, 97pts or a Trophy
    13 pack - $27.69/bottle
    70% Off RRP
    96pts, 97pts or a Trophy
    Regular Price $1,202.00 $360.00

At an average north of $90 retail per bottle, these might not scream 'Friday night Pizza' but at a tick under $30 a bottle in this bundle, maybe we can make a case for it... and at a bottle a week, we've got the next 13 weeks of Friyay evenings gourmet exhalations elevated to someplace very fine indeed.

So, what will you have next Friday?

Pasha's 97 point McLaren Shiraz which had Kim Brebach in raptures, saying 'The integration of fruit and oak is as seamless as I’ve seen in an Aussie red'? Dandelion's Firehawk Shiraz- off their best McLaren Vale vineyard? Sidewood's savoury Adelaide Shiraz which iced a lazy dozen gold medals with 96 points from Halliday? Showblock's incredible Reserve Shiraz? Kilikanoon's Flagship Cabernet? Perhaps, Longview's Trophy winning Cab ... decant this one!

OR, maybe you just want to start with the Lone Palm, the big gun. Imagine Marvin Gaye reinterpreting death metal (when he was alive, obvs), or Chuck Norris taking up Tai Chi. Molten lava given the Gaviscon treatment, Chewbacca reciting 'Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day', you get the idea. It's one of those 'Iron fist in a velvet glove' jobbies - incredibly powerful and densely fruited yet so perfectly put together that it is a joy to drink already.

Just need to choose that pizza now.

  2. Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Special Price $20.00 Regular Price $23.00
A wine made specifically for steak you say? Winemaker Hamish MacGowan has had a few careers, Cattle musterering in the NT, wine merchant in the UK, winemaker in Bordeaux, winemaker in Moldova, and winemaker in Vic. Eventually he decided to work for himself, making the perfect wines to pair with his fave thing to eat - Steak. So here it is, cloaked in iridescent purple, ripe black fruits, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and whisper fine tannins. Good by itself? Yes, as is the medium Rare T-bone you are sliding off the charcoal grill. Together though, somehow, both become perfect. Get 'em into ya! Learn More
  3. Barristers Block Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2024
    $32.00

Lime and lime zest with snow pea tendrils and grapefruit. A delightful texture and just the perfect amount of acidity to allow the fruit to make its powerful point without taking over the show. A delightful Savvy which should improve for a few years yet.

  4. Bleasdale Cabernet Franc 2022
Special Price $25.00 Regular Price $30.00
Bleasdale has been growing Cab Franc for over a quarter of a century, but this is the first time it's been released as a standalone wine, and it is lovely. Medium bodied and spiced, with rose petal, red fruit and musk aromatics and flavours. Linear and crunchy, but with a generosity of flavour. Learn More
  5. Bleasdale Frank Potts 2021
    $39.00
A casual 97 points from James Halliday! Oh, and four trophies and a 'stacks on' pile of golds and top gold medals. This is dense and complex, whilst also being taut and linear. Awesome now (post decanting), but will live for 20 years with careful cellaring, perhaps more. Red and black fruits here, with quality cedary spindles and exceptional length. Learn More
  6. Bleasdale Sparkling Shiraz NV
Special Price $18.00 Regular Price $25.00
All about the red fruits and plum here, in a fluffy, lush, cuddly, generous and bubbly setting. There’s Christmas cakey spices and a hint of quince paste to boot. Lip smackingly delicious. Learn More
  7. Bleasdale Tempranillo 2022

  8. Bleasdale Wellington Road GSM 2022
    $35.00
Bleasdale's Wellington Road GSM blend has only been in existence for a handful of years, but it draws on quality older vines from the estate as well as key growers. Offering vivid aromatics, it builds around a core of noticeable acidity and fine but plentiful tannins - a skeleton that promises longevity. That said, it's lovely already, with floral notes, jubey fruit, spice and more. Learn More
  9. Ca Vegar Bardolino DOC 2023
    $45.00
Its bigger than Pinot, and of course has a different flavour profile, but in the UK plenty of punters who drink Pinot are equally enamoured of Bardolino. 'But it is made from the same grapes as Amarone', we hear you say. It is, and Bardolino is only half an hour from that region, but the wines are altogether brighter and far more delicate than you'll find there. This Bardolino sees about 6 months in oak, followed by some time in tank prior to bottling – red fruits and violet form the nose. It is red fruity, pulpy and fleshy and finishes tight and dry, with excellent length, minerality, plenty of acid and fine tannins. Drink it with rich meaty dishes or oily fish. Definitely a food wine and absolutely worth decanting. Learn More
  10. Charming Chardonnay Dozen
    12 pack - $20.00/bottle
    51% Off RRP
    Charming Chardonnay Dozen
    Regular Price $492.00 $240.00
We love Chardy here at WD, well, most of us do, the ones with good taste... and if you are like most of us, this might just be the pack for you. There's 4 bottles each of the Solaris Adelaide Hills Chardy, a textural lovely replete with ripe and pendulous stonefruits along with rockmelon, vanilla, crème brûlée and brioche. The Dowie Chard, from an elevated, low yielding and sandy soiled single vineyard in Blewitt Springs is also textural, creamy and packed with flavours. The Katnook shows restrained tropical notes, fresh herbs, grilled nuts and butter. Learn More
  11. Claymore Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz 2021
    $25.00
Offering mouthfuls of dark plum, juicy blackberries and a touch of dark cherry pie, this is a seductive classic Clare Shiraz. Delve into aromas of spiced plums, dark chocolate, and smooth oak. This powerful yet elegant drop is sure to please with smooth, fine tannins. Given some time in the glass, it will really open up. Grab a bottle, pour a glass (or two!), and warm your bones beside the fire of this Shiraz/Dark Side of the Moon. Enjoy! Learn More
  12. Clusters of Luxe, a Cabernet Dozen
    12 pack - $16.58/bottle
    73% Off RRP
Clusters of Luxe, a Cabernet Dozen
    Regular Price $744.00 $199.00

An incredible Cab dozen here, with both the Dowie Doole and the Showblock Cabernet more than covering the asking price.

Kim Brebach gave the Dowie 96 points, having also given the 19 96 points- and compared it favourably to the $600+ wine of Gaja. It is selling incredibly quickly

More recently he gave the Showblock Reserve 97 points with the note' ‘It’s a complete wine in every way… real class here.' Kim doesn't give points away either..!
