This is high altitude, cool climate Pinot made in the Burgundian tradition. It is estate grown, hand harvested. whole bunch fermented and foot stomped, then spends 6 months in new French oak. It's superb already and will unleash layers of complexity as it ages. Our average score on the tasting panel was nudging 96, which is pretty unusual.

Outstanding! We gave it 97 on our tasting panel, and shortly thereafter, this picked up a trophy at the Hunter Boutique Wine Show. This is a medium bodied, aromatic Rhone style, with purple and blue fruits, smoky notes, redcurrant panna cotta, mulberry, black pepper, and violets. Loads of spice here, purple flowers and more. Old vine fruit here is fermented and then aged in high quality French oak. There is a floral, red fruited nose, spice, dark fruits and chocolate before a fine tannin finish showing both fruit tannins and cedar. Will be delicious over the next 10 years.
