- Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz 2021Special Price $32.00 Regular Price $35.00Wine writer Windsor Dobbin asks why this doesn't sell at a much higher price, and we concur. 35 to 120 year old vines yielding at a minuscule 1.25 tonne per acre, 40% new oak, 90% of which is French, black cherries, spice, raspberries, olive tapenade and black pepper. A stunning wine already, which will improve with cellaring. Learn More
- Glaetzer Wallace Shiraz Grenache 2021Special Price $30.00 Regular Price $35.0084% Shiraz and 16% Grenache sourced from 50-100 year old vines yielding at less than 1.5 tonnes per acre. Aussie Merlot doesn’t get more complex or highly awarded than Irvine’s Grand Merlot, twice recipient of the best Merlot in the world award. Recent releases are even better structured and livelier than the oldies, and we are confident the 2019 will improve for 10 years plus. There's plenty of rich plumminess, fig, herbs along with blueberry, dark chocolate and five spice. Excellent acidity and plenty of fine French oak here too. Decant for several hours before drinking.

The Inspiration
In 1842, 28 Silesian families arrived in the Barossa, bringing with them generations of viticultural wisdom. They settled in Bethany, purchased land from George Fife Angas, and laid the foundations of what would become one of the world’s great wine regions. Today, their descendants still tend the ancient vines of the Valley.
Dave Powell’s 2021 ‘The Silesian’ is a tribute to these pioneers—a wine steeped in history and crafted with reverence.
