This is high altitude, cool climate Pinot made in the Burgundian tradition. It is estate grown, hand harvested. whole bunch fermented and foot stomped, then spends 6 months in new French oak. It's superb already and will unleash layers of complexity as it ages. Our average score on the tasting panel was nudging 96, which is pretty unusual.

Since 1996, Chris Thomas has maintained a shiraz solera which form part of this lip smacking sparkling. The solera contains some of the best shiraz Chris has made over the last 20+ years and is used sparingly and exclusively to add the finishing touches to his sparkling shiraz each year and adds depth of flavour and complexity. This is sparkling shiraz as we love it- opulent, slightly sweet, with richness, complexity, oak and plenty of fine tannins. Superb small batch single vineyard PG from Keeda Zilm. Fruit is sourced entirely from Glen Kelly's vineyard in Sevenhill. Pears, spice, crisp green apple and an underlay of lime zest. Plenty of acid here to provide drive and a lovely mouthwatering aspect. The palate is just beginning to show the texture which develops so appealingly as PG ages. Learn More
