Zonte's Footstep 'Lake Doctor' Shiraz 2016

Rich and ready, this offers plums, five spice, chocolate, cedar and other goodies. The finish is fine with soft tannins. The length and intensity are sensational and the use of seriously good oak is evident in the traces of cedar and pencil shavings on the finish. A joy to drink now and will improve over the next 4-5 years.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Over the last decade and a bit, Zonte’s have regularly picked up trophies, medals and accolades for their wines, most of which sell between $18 and $25 a bottle. Pretty much every wine they make receives a significant accolade or a glowing review or 3. Their emphasis is always on quality fruit and never too much oak and the finished wines are always delicious from the moment they are released.
