Zonte's Footstep Chocolate Factory Shiraz 2017

We are massive fans of Zonte’s Chocolate Factory and this vintage shows the wine continuing to improve with 8 gold medals already, not bad for a wine fresh on the market. It is dark, concentrated and decadent, offering lots of chocolate, black and blueberries along with Christmas cake spices. Superb and beautifully polished on opening, it is even better 24 hours after opening.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Over the last decade and a bit, Zonte’s have regularly picked up trophies, medals and accolades for their wines, most of which sell between $18 and $25 a bottle. Pretty much every wine they make receives a significant accolade or a glowing review or 3. Their emphasis is always on quality fruit and never too much oak and the finished wines are always delicious from the moment they are released.
