Yalumba Eden Valley Chardonnay 2016

A beautifully fresh and cool climate Chardonnay that Sauv Blanc and Riesling fans would also approve of. Rounded citrus and florals, with sweet apricot and burnt honey followed by a tidy citrus orchard zest at the finish. This Chardy isn't heavily oaked, but lively and complex like an excitable baby octopus. Give it a try with some salmon or kingfish with a vinaigrette salad.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Yalumba. Meaning ‘Land all around’ in the local Aboriginal language, was founded by Samuel Smith in 1849. In the 1970’s Yalumba made the decision to found its own vineyard nursery, propogating and trialling new and emerging varieties. The prominence of Pinot Grigio, Viognier and others can be traced back to this decision.
