I likes most things wine, from dusting an ancient bottle of Blue Nun with a feather tickler to drinking expensive booze that my mates have bought.
I started in retail, did vintages in Pemberton and the Yarra Valley before becoming full time vineyard serf at Picardy (Rated 5 red stars by James Halliday).
Nowadays I can be found ‘researching’ wines for use by winedirect.com.au, writing on wine for the Adelaide Review, judging at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show, for the Adelaide Review Hot 100 and the Wine Showcase magazine.
When I'm not doing wine stuff, I likes playing guitar, fishing, hanging out with the fam an sneaking off on op-shopping adventures with my Tasmanian Devil.
