Thompson Estate is a Margaret River winery based in the dress circle sub region of Wilyabrup, along with Moss Wood, Cullen, Woodlands, Pierro, Fraser Gallop, Gralyn and Vasse Felix.
Like their cohorts, Thompson Estate makes exceptional wines and hold a James Halliday 5 red star rating. The winery is state of the art and has an exceptional winemaker Paul Dixon, who cut his teeth at Vasse Felix before moving to Thompson in 2012. The vineyard is in the process of becoming certified as biodynamic. The Gold medal winning red blend and Sauv Blanc Sem are both exceptional wines and brilliant value for money.
