Chalk Hill Wines launched their very first harvest and grape stomp day, inviting wine lovers to get their feet dirty.
On March 5, Chalk Hill Wines threw a party of a different kind, inviting groups to harvest and stomp grapes in celebration of their 2022 vintage.
Groups were able to head down to Chalk Hill’s, organic Cabernet Block near their Cellar door to have a hands-on experience harvesting the grapes directly from the vines. After harvesting their buckets of grapes, they were then able to get their feet dirty, crushing grapes in large wine barrels.
While stomping away, guests enjoyed tastings of the Chalk Hill Small Batch Releases, as well as lunch from Cucina di Strada, their signature tomato and capsicum homemade pasta…. yum…
