Serious, old vines Grenache this, with a degree of intensity you don’t always find in Grenache. As per every vintage released so far, the '23 is bolstered by the inclusion of some powerful, low yielding old vine Shiraz. A red and black fruit perfume abounds. Tannins are plentiful and savoury, the fruits black, flecked with reds and tightly coiled. Best enjoyed after decanting.
Lone Palm Vineyard, located South of Marananga, the heart of Barossa Valley. A vineyard of many different sites and microclimates and a lone palm tree standing next to the settlers cottage built in the late 1800’s from where the name originates. Opulent sunshine, rich soil, hand pick and traditional winemaking to produce dark, fruity, full-bodied premium Shiraz.
