Wines In This Pack
McLaren Vale, SA
97pts Sam Kim, 96pts Ken Gargett, 96pts Kim Brebach, 96pts Winestate Magazine, Gold - CWSA
The Martins has maintained the exceptionally high standard it set with the 2018 vintage. Fruits are blacks and blues, with blueberries, blackberries, olive tapenade, cedar and vanilla populating a powerful and long palate. The tannins are polished, waxy and plentiful. The overall package, outstanding!!
Barossa Valley, SA
93pts Sam Kim
A powerful Barossa Cab which announces itself with varietally appropriate aromatic lift in the form of violets and greenery. The palate is concentrated, replete with blackcurrant and blackberries along with macerating cherries and spice. Plenty of cedar and plenty of fine to medium weight tannins to finish. Begging for a rare to medium T-Bone.
Adelaide Hills, SA
Trophy, 2 x Gold Medals, 95pts Sam Kim, 96pts Kim Brebach
Showing exceptional colour, this Syrah immediately presents flavours of black and blueberries, cherry, and a hint of white pepper. It delivers a beautiful velvet trail with oak detected in the background. This is a quintessential modern Australian shiraz that is absolutely worthy of your consideration.
Mount Benson, SA
92pts Kim Brebach
Bright tropical fruits with guava and green mango melding with apple and a citric acid zing. A little skin contact is allowed during ferment to encourage texture and ferment is completed in concrete eggs. Planted in in 1992, the Hoopers had their first vintage in '96, eventually achieving organic and biodynamic certification in 2005. Their entire operation is off grid.
Please note, we’ve used the claimable benefit of the donation to increase the quality of the wines in the pack so unfortunately, no portion of the purchase is claimable by the purchaser.
