2021 Sauvignon Blanc Wines

There’s nothing like a crisp Savvy B on a sunny day (or, let’s face it, any day), and our range of Australian Sauvignon Blanc showcases the best of what this grape can do.

Originating in France’s Bordeaux region, Sauvignon Blanc gets its name from the French word sauvage ("wild") and blanc ("white") due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in southwest France.

Australian Sauvignon Blanc has a style distinctive from the famous New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc – ours tend to be riper in flavour, with white peach and lime notes and slightly higher acidity. Generally speaking, Sauvignon Blanc wine tends to be dry, crisp and herbal.

When slightly chilled, this wine pairs well with fish or cheese, particularly Chèvre. It is also known as one of the few wines that can pair well with sushi!
