Howard Vineyard White Wines

A second generation, family-owned business, Howard Vineyard is located in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills wine region, where for the past two decades they’ve built a reputation for premium grape-growing.

Howard Vineyard owns a couple of excellent vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, one in Mount Barker and another in Charleston, and from these they produce small quantities of top-quality wines under their own label.

Their vineyard sites are exceptional – they don’t need to acid-adjust any of the fruit during vinification, which is an absolute rarity in Australia.

Their Sauvignon Blanc comes from Howard's Clover Farm in Mount Barker, which sits at 360-390m above sea level. These are old vines (also used to supply fruit to two of the biggest names in Adelaide Hills Savvy B production) and the fruit is allowed eight hours of skin contact and time on lees to help build structure. We also love their sparkling, and our customers do, too!
