White on the Tip of My Tongue

Price as configured: $150.00

It might still be winter out there, but here are some winning whites perfect for chicken, fish and creamy pasta dishes. Sauvignon Blanc from The Hidden Sea and Wangolina, triple gold Eden Valley Riesling from Dandelion and let’s face it, this cold weather likely has you in need of a Soul Revival of sorts so we've chucked in a 13th bottle - a stunning Tomich Q96 Adelaide Hills Chardy with plenty of citrus, tropical flavours, snow pea and a hint of hazelnut – so good it’d be a Crying Shame not to get some of this on the Tip of Your Tongue...

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

We know what you’re thinking, whites aren’t up your alley in winter time. Try this – pump up your heating, dress down a little and throw on some quality 80s music. It’ll feel like a French summers day in no time. Here are a couple of Sauvignon Blancs to compare... from the Hidden Sea, you’ll find snow pea, cut grass, passionfruit, crème brulee and citrus. Wangolina takes the tropical notes up a notch yet again, with a hint of grapefruit – perfect for seafood. Eden Valley Riesling is smashing stuff and Dandelion’s Enchanted Garden has three golds to brag about. A lovely mineral character, with fresh citrus and a touch of honey which will cellar if you’d like it to. Plus a 13th bottle in the form of Tomich’s Q96 Chardonnay - here you’ll find plenty of juicy nectarine with a touch of melon and hazelnut.
