Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

One of the greatest things we do here at is round up the good stuff and sometimes the really, really good stuff, like these here bottles. Monterra’s McLaren Vale Shiraz has received four golds since release, made by Mark Farmilo (ex-Grange maker), it shows bright red and blue fruits in a plush setting with some spice and good depth across the palate. Neil Jericho is yet another master winemaker and his single vineyard Shiraz is punchy in complexity and will benefit from a decent decant should you wish to drink now. Bold and chocolatey, with plum fruits and some charred oak giving it plenty of acid making it pleasantly age-worthy. The Centurion from Richard Hamilton is properly classy Shiraz with layers of texture, flavour and complexity – it will cellar nigh on forever and definitely reveals more after a good airing. Curtis Limited is also a great example of big McLazza Shiraz. Decadent plum fruit, chocolate and coffee notes here, great with a rib-eye. Oliver’s Taranga is pure full-bodied Shiraz, showing spice on the palate along with dark fruits and exceptional length and a 96 score from Mr. Halliday. Martins Vineyard Shiraz shows more dark fruit notes, along with some oak spice and fine tannins, not softly perfumed nor overly jammy, it meets the Shiraz brief square in the middle.
