The $180 Red Dozen
A couple of stunning 96 pointers from Curator Wine Co. in the Barossa and Curtis Small Batch from McLaren Vale. These Shiraz are blessed with a superb depth of fruit and can be enjoyed now or any time over the next 10 years. The Corana Shiraz is a mid-week beauty with juicy black fruits, made by Oliver Crawford, formerly of Penfolds. The Red Deer Shiraz is a Langhorne Creek lovely off 50 year old vines. This will cellar beautifully but right now works a treat with rare to medium steak.
