Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Shiraz lovers, we’ve got you covered with exceptional McLaren Vale Shiraz from Curtis, Monterra and Richard Hamilton’s 97pt Centurion, Adelaide Hills class from Tomich, Barossan beauties from Bethany and Heirloom (95 points and double gold), and slightly south from Eden Valley is Irvine's 'Best Shiraz of the Barossa Wine Show', showing cool climate deep purple fruits, coffee spice and new French oak. A couple of our favourite Grenache from Curtis and Spinifex, both coming to the table with crunchy red fruits and curvy tannins. Also present are a couple of new Cabernets. Crabtree in Clare Valley is sticky plum jam with some Kalamata olive and savoury tannins. We also chose Kangarilla Road's 2014 vintage, think classy oak with blackberries and a fine lingering finish. To meet somewhere in the middle is Kilikanoon’s Shiraz Cabernet which is impressively big, with black and blue berries, fruit and nut chocolate and a silky textural thread. ‘Twill cellar for a decade we reckon.
