Long slow fermentation including 10% whole bunches over 12 days before basket pressing into 30% new French and 70% older French oak. A spicy and brightly fruited nose leads to a palate with exceptional structure and richness. Red fruits, black fruits, coffee, dark chocolate, plum, star anise, and fine, powdery tannins to finish. Really beautifully balanced.
