Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Just awesome shiraz here. Heirloom's Barossa edition has swagged a trophy and 5 golds so far. It is smooth, polished and rich, offering black and blue fruits, velvety tannins and beautifully subtle oak. Delicious already, yet has the legs to cellar for a decade or more. The Martins is old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz at its finest and has just picked up a 97 from Wine Orbit... packed with black fruits and blue, smooth and with excellent length. Purple Hands is the hobby/passion of Craig Stansborough, winemaker for Grant Burge. This Shiraz is an intense and textural blend of complex and competing flavours. Bold black and blue fruit, liquorice and spice knitted together with savoury oak and fine silky tannins. Finally, the Berrigan from the Limestone Coast, fresh off a trophy win, is poised and powerful with a tightly coiled structure dressed with expressive fruits. Violets, blueberries, pepper and liquorice here too. While this is a delicious drink from the get go, we reckon you could cellar this for 10 plus years.
