Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

One Shiraz for each of the four corners of the earth. First up, d’Arenberg’s stunning 'Laughing Magpie', replete with 5 Golds and 95 points from James Halliday. It's entering a happy drinking place at 5 years of age, offering brilliant depth of fruit, acid and tannins. Drink now or hide it somewhere beyond the horizon for another 10 years. Chateau Yaldara’s Reserve Barossa Shiraz is massive. Huge fruit, plums, chocolate, coffee and fine tannins. No need to hide this one, get into it now. The Curtis Cavaliere '16 Shiraz is the best they have produced to date. It drinks well now, especially after splashing around in a decanter for a bit but you could cellar it for 10 years too. Finally, Hesketh’s Protagonist Shiraz. Rich and ripe black fruits here and juicy fruit sweetness.
