Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Includes the magical 'Over the Top' shiraz which is beautifully balanced and packed with magnificently intense black and blue fruits. Hard to do this one justice in words. Buy some, drink some, it is glorious. See also Curtis' $100 a bottle limited shiraz from 60 year old vines. This is basket pressed into French oak and left for 18 months and struts a tightrope line between brutal and elegant really well. Think Arnie Schwarzenegger in a classy Country Road frock. Or don’t. There's also Curtis Cavaliere Shiraz – pushing up plush blue and black fruits, good structure and length. Next on the catwalk, Monterra’s 2016 Shiraz - this wine is bright with big blue and red fruit, shimmying plums on its very lush nose - the palate is rich with depth, structure and excellent length - stockings full of fruit and spice. It's delicious but we'd expect nothing less from winemaker Mike Farmilo. See also Finniss River's Shiraz abounding with plum and dark chocolate, and primed with a burst of sweet fruit - plenty of fine grippy tannins also served up on aristocratic oak. Go on, treat yourself. Ask, and these beauties will gladly strut their stuff for you.
