It is a stunning drop from a low yielding vineyard, packed with dark fruits and proffering cedar, spice and cherries. It is a study of concentrated fruit and power modulated by elegance. Oak presents as a perfume of cedar, rather than a whiskery rasp. Tannins are fine and grippy, without being in any way green or sappy. It is great now and will cellar for 15 to 20 years and, at $25 a bottle in this secret offer, is very hard to ignore.
