A magical old vine Shiraz, the 'recipe' starts with the winery's finest Shiraz fruit off their best vineyard. From there, only the best barrels make the cut for this very limited production wine, which retails for $90 a bottle.
More importantly, the wine is superb, offering bright yet dense black and blue fruits, cedary oak, and gravelly tannins. A very modern fruit sensibility with a nod to old school in its presentation of cedar and tannin. The end result is an excellent wine that represents value at $90 a bottle.
Why the secrecy? Why can't we just tell you what the wine is?

Sometimes we get access to wine at a particularly sharp price.
