Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

We're incredibly excited to have our Susumaniello from Southern Italy back in stock. We figured it would fit just nicely into Santa’s sack, even though his sack is already chock full! Christmas often equals quality Shiraz, so ho, ho, ho, we’ve got seven to play with. Curtis Limited, Chalk Hill Luna and Oliver’s Taranga are all fine examples of McLaren Vale Shiraz, plenty of dark ripe fruit, chocolate, spice and underlying oak. Slightly cooler climate is Irvine’s triple Gold Eden Shiraz which was awarded Best Shiraz at the Barossa Valley Wine Show. Artisans of the Barossa have produced a stunning Shiraz, the Wednesday Night Wine Club, Hamilton’s Centurion Shiraz has just picked up Gold at the Great Australian Shiraz Challenge and mixes power with elegance, length and texture and Kilikanoon’s Meymans Shiraz and Shiraz Cabernet show an abundance of ripe black, blue and red fruits and chocolate. The Laughing Magpie from d’Arenberg is complex, yet easy to drink with hints of liquorice, coffee and apricot and a fine tannin finish. Pindarie’s Schoff’s Hill Cabernet shows lush blueberries and tomato leaf with dusty tannins and we’ve been loving the dark refined beast that is Spinifex Garcon Grenache. Silly Season Slurpers don’t get much more seminal than this...
