Richard Hamilton Hut Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Special Price $17.00 Regular Price $22.00
There’s something very special about old vine McLaren Vale Cabernet especially when it is from a vintage as spectacular as 2018. This edition is rich and well structured. There are black fruits and violets on the nose, black fruits, creaminess, acidity and cedar on the palate and fine, polished tannins on the finish. This already drinks well but no doubt will improve for a decade.

Richard Hamilton and indeed Leconfield wines (same owner and winemaker) have steadily improved in quality every year from 2004. In addition to the wines they regularly produce from their McLaren Vale and Coonawarra vineyards, 2014 sees the addition of a Clare Riesling and Adelaide Hills Savvy Blanc.

Located in McLaren Vale, the Leconfield vineyards that produce Richard Hamilton fruit are well established, with some of the oldest vines in the region.
