Passionfruit, crisp green apples and minerality here. Colab's award winning Rosé is zesty and creamy, with bright red fruits. Dowie Doole's Chenin is an old vine stunner, packed with fruit and complexities. Cape Jaffa's SB is textural and fine, a super easy drinking SB.

    McLaren Vale, SA
    95pts Kim Brebach, 92pts Wine Pilot
    Sourced entirely from the Dowie vineyard in Blewitt Springs which was planted in 1933. These may be the oldest, still bearing chenin blanc vines in Australia. The wine launches with notes of struck match, reflective of the barrel work done with this wine in French oak. The palate is textural, offering red fruits, lemon, ginger, orange blossom with a wonderfully creamy aspect, with some cedary grain from the oak. Acid is plentiful, the finish long and mineral. This is lovely already and will improve for a decade or more. It is on track to be an absolute stunner.
    Fleurieu Peninsula, SA
    Gold Medal, 93pts Sam Kim
    This bright and crunchy Rosé offers flavours and aromas of redcurrants, strawberries, spices, and Turkish Delight. The fruit-filled palate leads to a dry, elegant finish. Serve just chilled.
    Mount Benson, SA
    92pts Kim Brebach
    Bright tropical fruits with guava and green mango melding with apple and a citric acid zing. A little skin contact is allowed during ferment to encourage texture and ferment is completed in concrete eggs. Planted in in 1992, the Hoopers had their first vintage in '96, eventually achieving organic and biodynamic certification in 2005. Their entire operation is off grid.
    Adelaide Hills, SA
    Classic Adelaide Hills characters of passionfruit and Granny Smith apples, along with minerality and a core of powerful yet refined acid. Fresh, dry, zesty and powerful.
