Heirloom Vineyards Wine Packs

Every year we bust out a best of 'Straya (Australia) mixed doz Summer celebration type pack. Sometimes they sell truckloads, other times they sell bugger all. We'll leave you to vote with your wallets on this one, but we reckon it is far and away the best to date, featuring 3 whites and 9 reds which are amongst the best wines we produce here in Oz. Collectively, these have snaffled 9 trophies, 6 Top Gold Medals, 20 Gold Medals, 2 x 97 pointers, 6 x 96ers and Winestate Mag's award for Cabernet of the year.

Sometimes you just want a red with a bit of experience under its belt- still offering the vivacious fruit of youth but with the rough edges knocked off, the fruit if anything more vibrantly on show thanks to the more harmonious structure underpinning it. So here’s a collection of pearlers, counting amongst their number are wonderful wines from Dandelion, Heirloom, Mitchell, Jeanneret, Kilikanoon, Chateau Bernot from Bordeaux, and more. All lovely, we promise!

6 amazing Grenache. 2 vintages of Heirloom Alcala- one of which won the Decanter Trophy as best Grenache in the world, plus the 21 vintage Alcala which Halliday scored 95. Both are magnificent. There’s Dandelion’s Treasure Trove Grenache which the Halliday Wine companion describes as having both sublime fruit and (a supportive) structural latticework. There’s Brothers at War Peacekeeper Grenache which was just pipped for a trophy at the Adelaide Wine Show. Also, Kilikanoon’s magnificent 1946 plantings Walton’s Grenache, a $96 a bottle, full throttle stunner, and finally the Lienert Sieben Klon Grenache – the Grenache us windirecties have ordered more of to take home than any other this year. This is the best Grenache pack we’ve ever put together.

Just Trophy winners here. Majella’s 4x trophy winning Cab which picked up every trophy it was eligible for at the Cowra Show and is Winestate’s reigning Champion Cabernet of the year! Heirloom’s, 2022 Alcala Grenache, just awarded the Decanter Trophy for best Grenache in the WORLD from a massive field. Dandelion’s Lion’s Tooth Shiraz blend, winner of not just best Shiraz blend, not just best red wine, but best wine of the entire McLaren Vale Wine Show.
