Generous and bright, this is full fruited Shiraz crafted for those who looooove McLaren Vale Shiraz. Born from the old school, made for today, and with a good decant can be enjoyed at almost any stage of its life. It will cellar for the next 10 years, however once tasted, it'll take someone with a barrel full of self control to let it last that long.

This already had a 95 and a 96 point score. but this keeps getting better as it sits in bottle. The most recent review is in from Kim Brebach, who gave it a staggering 97 points, with comments like...

Huge, black, concentrated, complex, chewy, cedary and utterly beguiling. Dive into the masses of black fruit, spice, graphite, char, chocolate, cherry, tobacco and more. Please consider decanting or putting through an aerator if you are going to have a crack at this in the short term. Otherwise, stick it away for a few years, or a decade.

It took about five seconds after opening the sample bottle of this to order the whole lot.

It's a big, rich and smooth McLaren Vale Shiraz offering dark fruits, chocolate, cedar and spice. 96 points from Sam Kim are well deserved here, and pleasingly while the wine is incredibly enjoyable already, it also has the potential to cellar for another 10 years.
