South Eastern Australia is the name of a wine GI (geographical indicator) in Australia, which covers an enormous expanse of land with varying climates and geographies. It includes the entire states of New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory, as well as parts of Queensland and South Australia. Within South Eastern Australia, you’ll find distinct wine regions such as the Hunter Valley, Mornington Peninsula and The Barossa Valley.
