Make no mistake, this is a full-bodied blend of Sauv Blanc and Sem which has seen some oak maturation. A complex amalgam of lime zest and grapefruit with gentle nuances of French oak. Textural and long, this is citrus pithy and lime zesty with an overlay of grilled nuts.

A powerful and textural Riesling from the superb 2022 vintage. This is already excellent but will cellar for a decade, probably two. A floral, lime and lemon bouquet leads to a steely, mineral palate replete with even more powerful and inviting citrus. Length and persistence are superb. Huon Hooke rates this well inside the top 10 Clare Rieslings from the vintage and just 1 point adrift from top spot.

This is Hirsch Hill's flagship Chardonnay, estate grown in the Toolangi sub-region of the Yarra Valley. A cracking Chardy offering florals, green apple, spice, hazelnut, stonefruit and more. Plenty of acid here, a creamy palate and judicious use of French oak make this an almost complete expression of cool climate Chardonnay. The only thing that can make it better is time. Decant before drinking or cellar.
