The Bold & Beautiful Baker's Doz
Some red wine packs ask you to trust that the wines will be good in a decade. This one is about immediate gratification.
A perfectly cellared Mitchell Peppertree Shiraz from 2016 headlines a lineup built around generosity, softness and drinkability. Add two beauties from Murray Street's Black Label range from the superb 2019 vintage, and you've already got the foundations of a seriously compelling offering.
The rest of the pack keeps the theme rolling; rich Barossa Shiraz, mature regional reds and a cracking Saperavi that brings a juicy, vibrant edge to proceedings.
Then there's the bonus bottle. Yaldara's Grand Shiraz is the winery's flagship red, a wine that has earned 96 points and retails for around $250 a bottle when released. It's a fitting finale to a pack that's all about delivering maximum drinking pleasure right now.
No hard work. No waiting. Just thirteen bottles from respected producers, under $14 average per bottle, that are ready to enjoy the moment they arrive.

This is classic, generous Barossa Cab with perfectly balanced yet unforced acidity underpinning a palate saturated with dark fruits including plum and blackberries.
In spite of its age, this is worth decanting as it opens up over several hours, so should continue to improve with additional time in bottle too.
Drink anytime over the next decade or so.
A polished Shiraz from a single high-altitude vineyard, picked at optimal ripeness and matured for a couple of years in mostly seasoned oak. The oak plays a subtle role—contributing texture rather than dominating with cedar, though there’s a hint of that too. Deeply flavoured with black and blue fruits, spice, and impressive concentration. Harmonious and seriously delicious.
Saperavi is probably the world's oldest cultivated grape variety. It comes from Georgia, bordered by Russia, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Black Sea. It has a deep, inky colour and features flavours of bold dark berries, plums, and spice. It's a full-bodied wine known for its structure, fine tannins, and a savoury, dark-chocolate-tinged finish. Delicious.
