What’s better than a bottle of wine? Multiple bottles of wine, of course! winedirect.com.au started out with our founder, Mark, creating wine tasting packs for customers, and although we’ve evolved from a brick-and-mortar wine shop into an online wine retailer, we still pride ourselves on creating wine packs that not only showcase exceptional wines, but that we can offer you for jaw-dropping prices. Our expert tasting panel has pulled together red wine packs, white wine packs and mixed packs by the half-dozen, dozen, and even some baker’s dozens with incredible bonus bottles for you to enjoy – there’s a wine pack for everyone! A Dozen Excellent Riesling PLUS Another Excellent Riesling
    Regular Price $396.00 $240.00
Just cracking Riesling here... The Gomersal is a lime laden lovely and gold winner from the Adelaide Show. The Curator offers lime and grapefruit, citrus blossom and pith. Claymore's Horse is just as elegant and racy as the name implies and the Jeanneret Sevenhill is a 96 point stunner - ethereal, citrus-laden and powerful. Finally, the Vickery Castine Hill is magnificent - it is Huon Hook's equal highest rated Clare Riesling from the 2020 vintage, from 67 reviewed. He says, '...superbly fresh and aromatic nose of fresh-cut flowers, lemon juice and pith, honey and citrus blossoms, the palate super-fine and delicate in its structure but marvellously intense in flavour, the acidity perfectly balanced and the finish very long and seamless, with perfect line. The finish is very dry and has a whisper of tannin assisting the dryness. A delicious wine, and one that should continue to age superbly'. Learn More

We've got Touriga, Grenache, Tempranillo, Mataro, Montepulciano, Negroamaro and Aglianico happening here, and a smidge of Shiraz in the Kilikanoon GSM. 7. Cellared Premium Aussie Shiraz Plus a Bonus Belter

    69% Off RRP
Cellared Premium Aussie Shiraz Plus a Bonus Belter
    Regular Price $942.00 $295.00
Sometimes you just want the comfort of a perfectly cellared Shiraz. The tannins softening, the fruit pushing forward, oak and tannin less 'shield wall' and more 'sheet-yeah'. So here they are: Mitchell's legendary Peppertree, a 96-pointer from 2015 that we sourced direct from the winery; the marvelous 2017 Angas King, a 95-pointer which has become a bestseller here at WD; and Sieger's 'take no prisoners' black Barossan. On release, drinking the Sieger must have been a bit like whipping on a pair of pants about two sizes too small; doable, but not without pain! Now it is drinking beautifully, still massive and with huge flavours, but also an undeniable pleasure. A bonus? Sure: a bottle of Yaldara's $250-a-bottle Barossa Shiraz. It's from the exceptional '21 vintage, so it's drinkable now, but we'd recommend drinking the rest of the pack now and tucking this one away for a rainy day. Learn More

4 bottles each of Angas King’s magnificent, $75 a bottle, 2017 reserve Shiraz. We tried this twice on the tasting panel and loved it both times- it looked even better a day after opening and has a bright future ahead of it. Ken Gargett said, ‘still very young … powerful with a long and exciting future. Seamless, with bright acidity and silky tannins plus a very long finish which maintains the intensity. Drink now and for 10 to 20 years.’ You’ll also get 4 bottles of Martin’s 97 point $150 a bottle McLaren Vale Shiraz, and 4 of Karl Scepter’s 93-point, succulent and chocolatey Barossa Cab. Some pretty flash booze here. The Angas King is a 95 point and perfectly cellared, deeply fruited beauty from the Clare. The Curtis just keeps picking up awards (most recently, 2 gold medals) and is a $100 a bottle, old vine McLaren Vale belter. The Architect, from Dowie Doole, offers superb intensity of fruit and is decent value at $90 a bottle. There are 4 bottles of each of the aforementioned coming your way. To seal the deal, a bottle of Yaldara's Grand Cuvée Shiraz, from the unicorn '21 vintage, this is a $250 retail stunner - a cracking example of just how good Barossa Shiraz can be. Learn More
